hi
I'm getting this error message when i try to connect as internal. Please advice

SQL> connect internal/ftport@ftport
ERROR:
ORA-24327: need explicit attach before authenticating a user

This is urgent! Please reply to my email id

are u sure you created a password for internal?
here local is the local database in the same machine.
SQL> connect internal@local
Connected.
SQL> connect internal
Connected.
SQL>

Hi,
Some times i do get this msg. then just close sql*plus and enter login name, passwd and host strig in login dialog.
